Programs
HARTFORD CLEANS UP
Through Hartford Cleans Up, KNOX supplies trash bags, litter picks, rakes, and brooms to empower hundreds of volunteers cleaning up Hartford neighborhoods. In October, KNOX also holds a citywide cleanup, where over the course of a few days a concentrated volunteer effort is led in the Hartford area.
KNOX provides bags, brooms, gloves, and other donated materials to registered groups.
Do you belong to a group that might be interested in getting involved? Residents, school groups, churches, businesses and organizations select a public space and participate in:
- Litter and debris cleanup
- Graffiti removal
- Painting
- Planting of flowers and greenery
- And more!
