The KNOX Green Jobs Apprenticeship training program provides paid professional green jobs education and training to young adults in Hartford.
Participants receive hands-on work experience and learn technical skills to help them secure full-time employment in a growing industry.
What Will You Learn?
Apprentices can also participate in resume workshops, receive certifications (e.g., OSHA-10), and network with industry employers.
How Does it Work?
The program, available to Hartford residents, runs for 16 weeks in the spring and fall. After two weeks of training and orientation, apprentices join KNOX’s Horticulture Team, working four days a week, while dedicating one day each week to personal and professional development.
