Greater Hartford Green Team – Heaven Skate Park Clean Up

The  Greater Hartford Green Team is back at it again as we show some love to Hartford’s Green Spaces. KNOX is working alongside Friends of Heaven Skate Park to do a clean up of the park on Saturday, June 13. Our main task will be weeding, mulching and replanting some of the planting beds around the perimeter of the park. We also anticipate working to pick up liter and do some general clean up in the park. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just looking for a way to give back, this is a great chance to make a visible difference in just a few hours.

What to Know:

• Rain or Shine. Extreme weather will cancel and anyone registered here will be notified.
• Wear comfortable layers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We’ll be working outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
• Water and light snacks will be provided.
• Open to all, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
