2018 Community Food Security Awards

The Hartford Advisory Commission on Food Policy invites you to our annual Community Food Security Awards!

The HACFP is a City Commission tasked with eliminating hunger in the City of Hartford. Every year the Commission hosts the Community Food Security Awards, an opportunity to celebrate and uplift Hartford activists, businesspeople, youth, and nonprofits who are improving food security, contributing to sustainability, and increasing access to fresh fruits and vegetables in the City. Winners are presented with a proclamation from the Mayor and a piece of original art by Hartford artist TD Taylor.

The ceremony will be held on March 21 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with a resource fair and light refreshments being served from 5:30 to 6:00 PM at the Center for Contemporary Culture at the Hartford Public Library (500 Main Street). Please check out the event on Facebook and forward this invitation to friends, family, and neighbors!

This event is free, but we ask that you RSVP here to get an accurate count for catering.
